Daniel S. Hutmacher

Entrepreneur, Investor & Advisor

Daniel has lived and worked in the UAE for more than 20 years and moved to Ras Al Khaimah in 2008 after working in Dubai as Regional Director of Food & Beverage for Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Middle East. He founded Swiss International Chocolates in Ras Al Khaimah that same year, building a locally based premium manufacturing business at a time when UAE-made artisanal chocolate still faced considerable market skepticism. His long history in the emirate gives him a perspective on RAK that spans well before its current growth cycle, from early entrepreneurship and manufacturing to today’s technology, investment and infrastructure opportunities.

About Daniel S. Hutmacher

Daniel S. Hutmacher is a Swiss entrepreneur, investor and advisor with more than three decades of international business experience across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. His career began in hospitality after studying at Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, before expanding into entrepreneurship, manufacturing, consulting, investment and infrastructure-focused ventures.
